Problems With Playstation 3
Playstation 3 Controller Problems
PlayStation 3 is the successor of PS2 and a strong competitor of Xbox360 and Wii. We are going to discuss some very common problems with PlayStation 3 and would like readers to adopt the DIY approach to solve them.
One of the most common problems which come up while playing is that the red light starts to flash and the console turns off itself. What actually happens is that the console gets overheated and turns itself off automatically. Kids and adults normally don’t care about the time as they are so indulged in playing which leads to this cut off. The simple solution would be to turn your PS off for about 1 hour.
It is also advisable to blow the inside of console with a blower to get rid of any dust and make sure that the room temperature is nice and cool. If even after doing these smaller steps, you feel like the problem sustains, you must consult with the manufacturer.
Another very common issue which has been reported is that when users are trying to download the updates they receive the message of DNS error 80710102. The simplest solution to this would be to disable the plug ‘n’ play option from the consoles router.
Some users have reported that their PS3 cuts off in between the play and the solution to this would be to contact the manufacturer as most likely the heat transfer compound has dried up and by contacting the manufacturer this would be easily replaced, provided all the warranty is intact.
These are just some of the few PlayStation 3 problems, if you have come across any other errors we have a guide that can show you how to fix them yourself without have to pay Sony over $150 in fees just to get a refurbished replacement. Check out our guides below.
