One of the most common problems which come up while playing is that the red light starts to flash and the console turns off itself. What actually happens is that the console gets overheated and turns itself off automatically. Another very common issue which has been reported is that when users are trying to download the updates they receive the message of DNS error 80710102. The simplest solution to this would be to disable the plug ‘n’ play option from the consoles router.

Some users have reported that their PS3 cuts off in between the play and the solution to this would be to contact the manufacturer as most likely the heat transfer compound has dried up and by contacting the manufacturer this would be easily replaced, provided all the warranty is intact.
